Who We Are
This historic building housed the Clear Lake High School from 1922 – 1997. The Center offers low-cost rental space and community programming. It is a non-profit organization established in 1998 to provide an enriching environment for community activities while preserving a beautiful community landmark. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation and is governed by a board of directors.
We are home to a diverse group of non-profit organizations including the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Salvation Army, Child Evangelism Fellowship, Clear Lake Chronicle Newspaper, Lion’s Club, Girl Scouts of America, Boy Scouts of America and the Clear Lake Community Theater group.

Our Event Center Space
The CLACC is proud to announce their new event center space!
This spacious area is perfect for birthday and anniversary parties, banquets, wedding reception, dances, and gatherings of all sizes!
This new Event Center is located in adjoining rooms 101 and 103, at the North end of the building (accessible through exterior door number 6 from the Northeast parking lot). Also known as the old Industrial Arts room and shop. The decor is being rehabbed with a fresh, new look.
The space is available to anyone looking for a venue for a party, a banquet, a wedding reception or dance… let your imagination run!
Membership Level: Basic
